Mr. Agnihotra Dakshina Murty Chavali

Agnihotra Dakshina Murty Chavali is a Non-Executive and Independent Director on the Board of our Company.He is Research Fellow -Modern Algebra from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, MSc - Pure Mathematics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, BSc - Double Maths and Physics from Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. He is seasoned banking and financial services professional with over four decades of experience in corporate finance, treasury operations, risk management, international banking, credit monitoring, human resources, and retail banking. He is retired as Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank after a distinguished career in the banking sector in 2014, where he played a key role in steering the bank through challenging economic conditions, strengthening its international funding initiatives, managing large-scale human resources, and driving growth across retail, agriculture and SME banking segments. He has also represented the Indian banking industry in international forums and led strategic engagements with rating agencies and regulators. Prior to joining Indian Overseas Bank, he held senior leadership positions at Bank of Baroda, where he headed treasury, resource management, risk management and corporate financial services functions. He was instrumental in modernizing treasury operations and implementing advanced risk management practices within the bank. He has served on several prestigious committees and boards, including the RBI Committee for implementation of the Negotiated Dealing System, the FIMMDA Valuation Committee, the Advisory Board for Banking and Financial Frauds constituted by the Central Vigilance Commission, and various committees of the Indian Banks’ Association. He has also served as nominee director of Bank of Baroda on several financial sector entities.
